Manatee our robot, uses several unique frames, all of which have important purposes. They were all made specially to fit around the robot. They are made this way so that instead of a motor they just slip the frame on. This method has several pros and cons. It cuts time when attaching, It is in some cases faster than the actually motorized attachment, and like our innovation project, it maximizes energy efficiency in our robot. Some negatives are that it can occasionally get stuck when being removed or put on. Another is that it has to be put on perfectly.
